On January 14th at 7:30 pm, we assemble intercessors from West Essex Baptist, Living Waters, Good Will Rescue Mission, Bethany Evangelical Free, Calvary Evangelical Free, Calvary Lutheran, Joy Community, Brookdale Baptist and others for a time of prayer and worship in pursuit of God and an outpouring of His Holy Spirit. Our first 2009 Community dinner is coming up on Saturday, January 17 at 6:30 in the Fellowship Hall. We’re going to have a chicken delight dinner which means that we will ask folks to bring their favorite chicken casserole or entree side dishes. We will also have veggies and salads. Friends at Lamb, I have come up with a way for us to regularly support the men at Goodwill. Every man who comes through the mission’s facility has a need for basic items. Often the mission’s supply runs out and the staff is left scrambling for anything they can get at the dollar store! These are simple, inexpensive items which we can help supply. (more…)
