Sunday Service

We gather at 4 PM at our temporary facility (The Crossing Church in Livingston, NJ) on Sundays for worship, the proclamation of the Word of God and for the celebration of the Lord’s Table. We are in process of seeking the Lord for where He wants us in terms of location. Pray for us!

Cry For Awakening

On the second Wednesday of every month, a group of Essex County churches gathers to pray for awakening. Each month’s location is different. Click Cry for Awakening for current location of this gathering.

Bible Studies/Home Groups/Ministries

  • Jeff and Amie DeMarco and Rich and Jenny Shannon host a weekly bible study (Wednesday). Call Jeff at 973-417-3524 or send him an email.
  • On Tuesday mornings at 7 AM, we meet for prayer in the basement studio of Pastor Scott for a 1 hour prayer meeting. Contact Pastor Scott at 973-879-7953 or send him an email.

  • Every Wednesday Morning at 7:30 AM Pastor’s from the area gather at the Crossing Church in Livingston, NJ for a Pastor’s Prayer Meeting.

New For September 2010

  • Friday Night Home Group, alternating Friday Evenings from 7-9:30 – At the Homes of Gary & Ampy Patti and Vinny & Maryann Dahmen. – Beginning in September 2010 – Open to all.
  • Monday Evening Intensive Study on becoming an effective people helper – Location to be announced. Focus on the Biblical Counseling material of the Christian Counseling and Education Foundation. This series of 10 weeks studies will focus on equipping the ordinary Christian to be effective in helping people change. Utilizing ‘Helping People Change’; Through New Eyes; and Relationships, a mess worth making we will explore biblical counseling in the local church. Taught by Scott Pursley, a Pastoral Counselor with 30 years of experience.

    Domestic & International Ministry Opportunities

  • Good Will Rescue Mission – Pastor Scott is volunteer counselor at the GWRM. Kevin Houk, a member of LOG is program director at GWRM.  A number of pastors from churches who are part of the Cry for Awakening are on the staff of GWRM. This ministry to homeless men is an important part of our life as a congregation. There are a number of regular on-going opportunities for involvement. Could you volunteer to drive a truck? Can you tutor men in Math or English (helping prepare men to take the GED)? Could you volunteer to work in the Thrift Store?
  • Short-Term Missions – In Brazil, Africa, Poland and Northern Ireland. We are specifically connected with Free International Missions, Abidjan, Ivory Coast (Bishop Anthony Yeboah) and Alianca das Igrejas para Restauracao (ARC in Brazil – Thomas Padley) and The Rock Center in Belfast, Northern Ireland. We hope to be sending our first missionaries to Belfast in June of 2010 (Troy and Noelle Polyniak).
  • We have an ongoing project to dig fresh water wells in the Amazon, in partnership with the ARC in Brazil. This project allows us to regularly travel to Amazon with small groups to further our commitment to dig these wells. Interested in being a part of a mission trip?
