The gathering at 10 AM on Sundays is set apart for worship, the proclamation of the Word of God and for the celebration of the Lord’s Table.

Cry For Awakening

On the second Wednesday of every month, a group of Essex County churches gathers to pray for awakening. Each month’s location is different. Find out more details at cryforawakening.org.

Bible Studies & Home Groups

  • Jeff and Amie DeMarco host a weekly bible study in their home. Call Jeff at 973-417-3524 or send him an email.
  • Young Women’s Bible Study meets Tuesdays at 7 PM for dinner at the Polyniak’s home.
  • NEW - September through May 2008-2009 - Monthly Biblical/Worldview/Theological Training. 8 AM until Noon. Light breakfast provided as well as childcare. Contact Pastor Scott for more details.
  • NEW - September through May 2008-2009 - Every four to six weeks, Lamb of God will gather for a Saturday evening Community Meeting. This will include a celebration of The Lord’s Day Meal (a wonderful tradition intended to help make the Lord’s Day special - particularly great for children), worship and a Community Meeting. We anticipate roughly six gatherings. Check the News section for latest dates.

Prayer Meetings

  • On Tuesday and Thursday mornings at 7 AM, we meet for prayer at the church house located directly next to the building. Contact Pastor Scott at 973-879-7953 or send him an email.
  • On Tuesdays at 10:30 AM, there’s a prayer meeting led by Page Malbrough at the home of Dave and Rebecca Houck. Children are welcome. Send Page an email.
  • On Wednesdays at 10 AM, there’s a prayer meeting led by Kathleen Harris at the home of Dave and Rebecca Houck. Children are welcome.
  • On Sundays at 9:45 AM, we pray before the service in the back of the sanctuary.

Youth Ministries

  • Junior & Senior High meets weekly from Sept-May - Troy and Noelle Rhodes are the leaders of our youth ministries. The Senior High Group meets every Sunday night at 6 PM at the Rhodes’ home. The Junior High Group meets on Friday evenings at 7 PM at the church. Contact Troy at 973-368-3745 or send him an email.

Diverse Ministry Opportunities

There are many diverse opportunities for ministry at Lamb of God. Here are a few recurring opportunities:

  • Good Will Rescue Mission - We have a very close relationship with the GWRM and there are many opportunities for ministry available.
  • Short-Term Missions - In Brazil, Africa, Poland and Northern Ireland. We are specifically connected with Free International Missions, Abidjan, Ivory Coast (Bishop Anthony Yeboah) and Alianca das Igrejas para Restauracao (ARC in Brazil - Thomas Padley) and The Rock Center in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
  • Food Pantry Outreach - Beginning in September running simultaneously (8:30 A.M. to 10:30 A.M.) with the Food Pantry at Lamb of God Fellowship we will offer coffee, donuts and prayer ministry to those seeking assistance at the food pantry - Contact Ben Stamper send him an email.
