Let me introduce you to some wonderful brazilians
(right) Braw & Lu are husband and wife from a region called Taubate in Sao Paulo. Bauw gives pastoral oversight to about 5 ARC churches in that region. He has been discipled by Tom for the past seven years. Bauw is 32 years old.
This is Magrao. He is a leader in the Ele Clama Ministry, (which means “He crys out”).
Ele Clama is a church and a ministry to street people, drug addicts and other disgarded people. They have over a 100 people in their residential program. Magrao, was himself a resident of this program and has gone on to recover and find the Lord. He is full of joy and a delight to be around.Next Sunday, the 5th I will be at Ele Clama preaching to the residents and church members.
(right)This is Regina, a part of Bauw’s church in Taubate, Sao Paulo. She has a tremendous servant heart. Several years ago I shared with her my concerns about Amy’s life (my daughter) and my fears that she was not going to follow Jesus. She committed herself to pray, and has faithfully prayed for Amy these past few years. What a delight to be able to tell her that Amy had come back to church and that she was seeking to follow Jesus.
(Left)This is Rick Widner (who you know) and Heloise Rosa who is associated with the ARC in Brazil. She is a premier worship leader, and known all around the nation of Brazil. She leads worship in conferences, bible schools and churches all across the country. She has a voice of a angel, and is gifted and highly skilled in leading worship. We hope that later this year or next year she will come and be with us at LOG.
Here on the right is Raquel. Raquel is a former student from the Clamor ministry. (A school which is oriented toward
raising up young leaders.) Raquel is an evangelist who has lead nearly a dozen friends to the Lord in the last year. She has started two bible studies, all with new Christians. She also works a full time job. This is not unusual here in Brazil. Young men and women who are zealous disciples of Jesus, and who He uses to do wonderful work here in Brazil.
