I came across this wonderful fairly brief message by Jim Cymbala from Brooklyn Tabernacle. This is a message he gave as part of a conference conducted last year at Billy Graham’s retreat center called “The Cove.” It’s wonderful and will encourage you; if you have a heart for seeing revival.
In this video message, Pastor Jim encourages the church to pray for revival by telling the story of his prodigal daughter and how the Lord brought her back to himself. It is powerful!

Happy Thanksgiving Lamb of God Community,
I have been astray for the last couple of weeks. I just purchased a new home in NJ and had so much work to do and didn’t make time for church because I felt guilty leaving for a couple of hours while my family continued to do more work at the new house. Then I started thinking maybe I just pull back from my committment to church and prayer mtgs and getting involved in the church community. But this morning I work up and felt I needed to go to church and Thank the Lord for all my blessings. So I checked the LOG calender to see if a service was being held today. NO, no service. So I thot maybe I will catch up on everyone’s blog to see what’s been happening the last couple of weeks in my absence.
Well, Lots has been happening.
I listened to the video from Jim Cymbala and Pastor Scott is correct. The message will humble your heart for your children, grandchildren or any young person in your life that needs the teaching of the word.
This message also reminds us about the power of prayer.
I just want to say. Thank you for posting this video. In my time of need and looking for help to show my thankfulness on this day of Thanking God for our very existence, this video helped me pray and rejoice in my re-committment to getting back on the horse and staying involved at LOG.
Will see you all again on Sunday.
I will say again I am so THANKFUL I found this church community. It is everything I need.
