Crazy God’s Way

This past Sunday (Feb. 4th) was a wonderful, crazy and glorious time in worship and with our guest speaker Bishop Anthony Yeboah. He is a man of faith, and he challenged each of us to embrace whatever wilderness God may bring us through and recognize that at the other end God is seeking to extract faith and trust from us.

Also - Today (Tuesday) I was in my car traveling down to see Anthony Yeboah before he heads back to Lansing Michigan, and then to the Ivory Coast. I was groovin’ to one of the great unsung obscure rock & soul bands Adam Again. These guys are great. They were led by an eccentric singer/songwriter who went by the name Gene Eugene. (I’m not sure what his real name was) They produced a half a dozen albums some of them okay, and a few great. Three albums in particular “Ten Songs, Homeboys and Dig are outstanding. Gene was an enigmatic character, part genius and part screwball (He died March 20th, 2000 in his early fifties). If you like your rock with a bit of soul, and introspective lyrics check out Adam Again.
